Maintaining Your Privacy in Community

Online communities are cool! They allow you to share your thoughts and questions with other program participants in a fun way, so you can learn more and help each other. However, your privacy is important to us. Create a UserName for anonymity. Only by checking the box to “show only User Name” will your privacy be protected. You can’t go back, so be sure to check this box when creating your account. A fictitious user name helps protect your privacy and identity. The User Name is the only personal information displayed publicly. Any other information we ask for in your Profile, including name, address and email, are private and unable to be seen by the rest of the community.

Please note:  All questionnaire responses and journal exercises are confidential and cannot be viewed by the online community. Your program is your private space. Allow yourself to be fully honest even if what you feel is only what you feel in the heat of the moment.
